I came across your page www.brereton.org when googling around for information about the Breretons. My cousin joined ancestory.com and came across this connection:

I would say that at this point, my family line is pretty far removed from the Breretons, however, it's one family line that I find interesting & would love to know more about. I've also looked into other branches of our family line that have had some interesting tales to tell the children. Apparently, it seems to be a theme in our family (in all directions) to marry for love at the expense of the family inheritance.
I also noted when nosing around on your site that someone else is mentioning the Wilkinsons. That's my married name. Now, this is going to drive me nuts if I don't dig into that a little.
Anyway, I do hope to hear from you, or someone in your group. If you have any questions about your way way way distant U.S. connections, please feel free to contact me. I'd love to hear from anyone.
